Shawn Christopher Whittington is a Christian author who specializes in crafting surreal epics about otherworldly beings, bizarre worlds, and deep subject matters. Shawn became intrigued with literature at an early age and officially decided to pursue a career in writing at the age of thirteen.
Inspired by the supernatural and his turbulent internal struggles, it was Shawn’s prolific writing that helped him during the dark years where he developed a keen interest in Gothic fantasy and the macabre focused on the outsider. Shawn derives his inspiration from religious dogma and research, giving his narratives modern twists based on classic themes. He has a fascination with classical works and incorporates similar dynamics into his characters with the intention of teaching about spiritual warfare and cultural issues through allegories and symbolism.
